FAQs

What are the key benefits of using aerosol spray paints?

Aerosol painting is a faster process and leaves a smooth and professional finish on its surface. Aerosol sprays are great for us on a number of materials like wood, metal, plastic, walls, and are excellent for us in the automotive industry.
How does an Aerosol Spray Paint compare to using a brush or roller? Aerosols give a smooth and even coating to your surfaces, reducing streaks or brush marks. An aerosol spray coverage tends to dry faster and enables you to reach and coat areas which may be difficult with a brush or roller.

How best to apply an aerosols coating?

For a smooth finish, 2 to 3 coatings are recommended. Make sure each coating is light and even, and let each coating dry fully before applying the next one. Before spraying, shake the can well for 2 minutes and during the spraying process keep the distance from the surface consistent.

Should I prepare the surface before using aerosols?

If you want to achieve a professional and lasting finish, it’s important to prepare the surface properly. This incudes cleaning the surface to remove dust and dirt. Priming your surface, particularly if it’s metal or plastic will ensure better adhesion and corrosion resistance as well as improving coverage. It’s worth using a topcoat too if you want a durable, high-quality gloss finish. A 2k aerosol topcoat is worth considering for better resistance against chemicals and rust.
